ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Daily credit card balancing of web-based policies. Investigating any out of balance issues in credit card processor systems or possible policy issuance errors

- Carrier setup packets – processing the accounting side once the wholesale team does the initial reviews of the paperwork in DocuSign

- A/P – Entering in vendor invoices, tracking vendor invoices to make sure all bills are received and paid in a timely manner.

- Printing checks to the Flagstaff office to be processed for mailing. Upload A/P check file to the bank for Positive Pay.

- Working with affiliates regarding any accounting issues, change requests or commissions payments. Setting up automatic ACH payments for commission payments.

- Working with international and domestic insurance underwriters regarding any accounting questions or issues with policies issued, cancelled, or endorsed.

- Processing Broker Commissions for 1000s of subagents.

- Learn accounting procedures.

- Work with IT regarding any reporting to changes to improve process flows and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

-Advanced Excel knowledge including manipulating pivot tables in large sets of data

- Prior data entry and some accounting experience

- High learning curve

- Ability to multi-task

- Willingness to learn and be in a constantly changing environment.
